When one side is in trouble, support comes from all directions. Natural disasters are merciless, but there is love in the world. The 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Dingri County, Shigatse City, Xizang, touched the hearts of all sectors of society. The Zijiang Public Welfare Foundation contacted the donation matter as soon as possible and transferred RMB 2 million in donations to the Minhang District Representative Office of the Shanghai Charity Foundation to support the special action of earthquake relief in Shigatse, Dingri and other places.

        This donation will be used for emergency rescue, transitional resettlement, winter supplies and other work in the disaster stricken areas of Xizang, and will contribute to the disaster relief, resettlement housing construction, safe winter and post disaster reconstruction of the affected people.

        After the donation, the Zijiang Public Welfare Foundation continued to follow up on the disaster situation and the progress of disaster relief. On January 14th, Vice President Bao Yungang of the Minhang Representative Office of the Shanghai Charity Foundation replied that Zijiang's donation was timely and the funds would be donated to the Civil Affairs Bureau of Dingri County. The Shanghai aid Tibet team has also gone to the disaster area to carry out work, and the follow-up progress will be shared in a timely manner.
